How much does gutter cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the number of storeys and how much has built up, so we quote each job rather than publishing a flat rate. Quotes are free, and this season gutter cleaning is 15% off.
How soon can you come out?
We are in the office Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call and we will tell you honestly what we can do and when, rather than booking you in and moving you later.
Are you insured?
Yes, Berg Maintenance is fully insured. Gutter work means ladders and height, and you should never let an uninsured crew up on your roofline.
What if the downspouts are blocked further down?
That is exactly what the flush is for. We run water through every downspout and keep working until it drains properly, rather than clearing the trough and calling it done.
How often should gutters be cleaned on Vancouver Island?
Twice a year suits most properties here. Fir and cedar needles drop year-round rather than in one clean autumn burst, and our rainfall means a partly blocked gutter overflows rather than trickles. Homes under heavy tree cover often need three visits.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. It gets bagged and loaded into the truck. Nothing gets dropped into your garden beds, left in a pile behind the shed, or washed onto the driveway.
